Just ordered a foxx trapp cw9 - i've heard rave reviews on other forums. I liked the adjustable cant option over the PJ so i can carry apendix or behind the hip and adjust the cant.

i'll give a review once its in.

I love mine and I was not a fan of kydex before I bought the FoxxTrapp. I also like the adjustability, as well as the comfort.

Good to hear. I should have one in my mailbox anyday now. Geez, now I know why guys have drawers full of holsters. There are sooooo many choices, and many of them have very good reviews. I have aTommy Theis coming for my G19,(great guy btw,Tommy called me 5 minutes after I emailed him about the wrong holster I got from him, it was my mistake, he shipped right one within the hour), anyway, Theis, Foxx, PJ...on and on, hard to choose.

You'll both love the Trapp, It's a great holster. And you're right 68blackbird (http://kahrtalk.com/member.php?u=11354) I had a Tommy Hheis Horse hide holster for the LC9 with LaserMax I had. That's another good holster and Tommy has good costumed service, but IMO the Trapp is more comfortable and Ray @ Foxx has as good if not better costumed service than Tommy (Hard to believe, I know)

BTW Frayed Knot (http://kahrtalk.com/member.php?u=9815), did you ever get your screw sets?

I did. I received them 10 minutes prior to leaving town for the holidays. Perfect timing. Even more comfortable than the original screw and spacer set. :)

Did you save your old screws? I got one of his Mag carriers, but didn't like how the clip was only held on by 1 screw (the same as the old screw/spacer sets). The carrier had 2 holes (for adjustment), so I drilled a 2nd hole in the clip and added a 2nd screw/spacer set.

BTW Sorry for the Thread Jack

Foxx Trapp showed up today, have been wearing for a couple hours around the house. Very comfortable, retention is spot on. I really like the way it clips on and can unclip to get in/out of car. I think I am really going to like this holster!https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-pCfGE6BO7MA/UOid3IeCSWI/AAAAAAAACBI/LYoCK4hz6ss/s674/Foxx+trapp+%281%29.JPG

You might try putting on a felt patch on the back side,I put one on mine and it helped a lot.You can buy the felt in any hobby lobby for less than a buck.Get the kind that has self stickum on the back and fit it first before you cut it.

I like the idea of having the cant adjustable. Can anyone compare the profile and feel (when wearing) to a PJ Holster? Thanks!

Wonder I'd their Foxx Trapp will fit my TP9? Says P9 and my frame is a P9 frame with a T9 sized 6.5" slide.

You won't feel the kydex as much against your skin if you put the felt on it.yes I wear underwear. It seems to make it feel softer.

Ah, I comprende...to be honest, after wearing it for awhile, almost forgot it was there, I have some mole skin, might try for s & g's... :)

Looking at it the holster appears to be open ended. If so then if it fits a CW9 it just might also fit my TP9 (old style) which uses the PM9. Do these fit a PM9?

It should fit your TP9, it would just stick out of the bottom a little more. I'm guessing your trying to say your TP9 uses the P9 frame???

Here's a pic of my P9 in it

I don't feel the kydex anyway, I wouldn't want the felt to adsorb sweat, the kydex can just be wiped off, felt, not so much.

Did you consider the slide guard? I am about ready to order for my CM9 and was not sure to go with or without the extra material on the holster.

Your thoughts?

I don't think it was available when I got mine, but I don't think it's needed either.

Same here, and I agree, less is more in this case.

You guys must be thin! I have a spare tire and I need a sweat shield between it and my gun.

Yeah, I am on the thinner side and I don't like extra stuff jabbing me in the ribs when I sit or bend.:)

I am on the thinner side too.... I will try without.... if I do not like it, I will sell and purchase another. I agree, less is better.

Trust me, I have a gut, but I think the slide guard would poke me, but IDK. From the pic it doesn't look like the slide guard on the Trapp is as well thought out as the PJ and more of an afterthought (sorry Ray, I'm just callin' it like I see it).

Very true. I tried another brand that is expensive and very well liked by several here, no doubt a quality holster. But the sweat shield of that holster would dig into my spare tire and become very uncomfortable in less than an hour. But I think omitting the sweat shield and letting the slide rub against your shirt, T-shirt or skin isn't the answer. Getting the right holster is. I can wear my CM9 in the PJ IWB all day long and can't even tell it is there.
