I do dig Ruger and I also like the SR models but all the non essential crap is not appealing.

10+1, moderate weight...

Might still wait for an FNX45 tho.

I'm going to be interested in trying this gun. I'll wait about a year before buying to see how it shakes out.

Well opinions are like ear lobes, everybody has one, well unless you don't got no ears I guess.

Other than it's a 45 it really doesn't appeal to me. I love Ruger revolvers, all of them but just never been fond of their autos except for the SR1911 of course, that's a beauty in all respects.

Just thought I'd throw my ear lobe out there on the off chance any one gave a rats backside.

yup I'm with u, I just want the 1911 45"s but I will wait on the keltek, as I know they make a super super gun. I can't trust those Rugers. Just sayin

Well it is about time for Notre Dame to kick Alabamas ass, so I gotta get ready.

Whose ass is getting kicked? :9:

At the half, one of the commentators said, "This is just an old fashioned ass kicking." At the start of the 4th quarter, one of them described it as "road kill!" LOL! :)

there will also be an SR45c, .625 shorter, and two less rounds, making it 8+1 double stack...or so i was informed today

I'm highly likely to own one of these.

well, that didn't work out so well did it?

i'm not big on ruger autos either, they just look boring. they shoot good and everything but give me a s&w, sig, kahr, springfield anyday.

I agree about Rugers, but I would put an HK at the top of your list.

I'll bite on Ruger semi autos. I have an old P94, that goes with my Ruger carbine. Yes, it is big and heavy. But, it shoots great, is easy to clean and I could pound nails with it, big ones, and I think it would still fire. It would make a pretty serious club too. Of my semi autos, it is the one that would be most likely to still work after the apocalypse.

I could get more Rugers, maybe even that commander sized 1911.

This would in my opinion make for a more practical carry pistol than its bigger brother.

Nice pistol...My BIL bought a SR9c and showed it to me at Christmas and it's an real nice pistol and feels very good in the hand...I love Ruger revolvers but never have been much of a Ruger semi auto fan though, I know they function great but IMO they just looked kind of clunky and with all that owners manual crap carved into them I think they just don't look very nice and to me how a gun looks is important but to others it doesn't matter one bit so long as it goes bang when you need it to....That said the looks of a Kahr is what got me interested in one even before I knew anything about them...To me a Kahr pistol is one of the most beautiful pistols out there, pure function with nothing you don't need to clutter it up...

For my 2 cents I think for the money the best pistol in this type of heavy duty DA/SA semi auto design has to be the Gen III S&W pistols and IMHO they are the best looking, functioning and all around nicest all steel pistols ever made and can be purchased either personally used or Police trade in for a great price....You can't go wrong with either the SR line of Rugers new or the Gen III S&W used....

Or if you are rich like Barth just go and buy all of HK's stock and be done with it!!!!......:p

I love my SR9. Have over 3k rounds through it and not a single problem. It's very accurate, nice trigger.
