I ran my new P380 through the 200 round breakin plus 50 over the last 3 days. Needless to say, I am grinning from ear to ear and stoked. I carefully followed the advice on this forum, advice on reputable gun reviews, and the owners manual regarding cleaning, prep, and lube. Over the 250 rounds (dropped a little lube onto the rails at about 100) of Federal and Mag-Tech 95 grain FMJ, fired from 6 and 7 round mags.; slow fire, rapid fire, and really rapid fire, I had NOT ONE malfunction of any kind.:):):)

It sounds like you have a good P380 that will serve you well. My P380 has been reliable also and has become my go to carry gun when light clothing is in order. Get yourself a good pocket holster and load up with good defensive ammo. There is no better pocket gun than a good running P380.

I've never used a pocket holster ( I use OWB and cross-draw for my S&W snubbies), so can you advise me on what you've had good luck with ??
Thankyou:)

The P380 was the first polymer I ordered... with night sights, too, and it took 11 months to finally get mine... after I bought a PM9... and a PM45 in the interim!
The front night sight was D.O.A. and back it went to Kahr the next day... unfired... the first of two returns to the Mothership.
It's at my side now and I love that little pistol. With Buffalo Bore +P Gold Dots, it offers more power than the Short Barrel version of the 38S&W +P Gold Dots in a 2" snubby! See my avatar and Picture Album. The data comes from Ballistics by the Inch:

Ballistics by the Inch is a great site for checking ballistics for different barrel lengths and some real world pistol results. It's quite an endeavor:

Great field report, glad the "Little Bastard" is working well for you. Mine is at the mother ship getting some TLC and hopefully will be returned ready to rock. I carry mine in a pocket holster made by Uncle George. Great product, Great price and it can be used in either a front or back pocket. http://www.unclegeorgeswalletholsters.com/Pages/default.aspx
