Just thought I'd say that I finally shot my new-to-me CM9 today. I purchased it in October 2012, and the previous owner stated that he ran 160 rounds thru it.

I ran 50 rounds thru it today (I only had 15 minutes to shoot...). I tested all three 6-round magazines it came with, shooting it with 6 + 1, chambering the first round with the slingshot method, slow fire, and rapid fire. No hiccups to report of any kind!

Although I was initially shooting low by about 4 inches at 15 feet, I became accustomed to the trigger and was able to shoot my last group on target. Overall, I was impressed with the accuracy! I am really thinking that I made a great purchase for this fine carry piece.

I just wanted to say thank you all for the wealth of information that I got from this site before I took it out today.

I have a question about HD ammo...I plan on using Hornady Critical Defense (115gr), as I use the same round in my full-size HD pistol. Do any of you use this round, and has it been perfectly reliable? I didn't have a chance to test this round today, as I shot Remington PMC 115gr FMJs.

Thanks!

my son put a box of Critical Defense through his CM9 and it was flawless. I put one magazine of 135 gr Critical Duty through my own CM9, just a flawless. I was afraid the bullet profile might be a bit "agressive" for the CM9, but was pleasantly surprised. At a buck a round, can't afford to blow much of it down range though. I'm satisfied that either performs in the CM9.
