and what type of response do you expect on a very open, public forum?

Again, or still? It's hard to determine. Comes natural to liberal democrats.

Whoa, chill out....this forum specifically keeps the political stuff as low key as possible. You will not find a person here who supports ANYTHING she says or does (or if they do they keep their mouth shut about it)...but I'm not sure what you're expecting. We're a gun forum, not a political bashing forum. We KNOW she is the enemy of the second amendment, at this point you're throwing gasoline on a fire that is burned out....

Sorry no one showed up with pitchforks ready to go storm her house, but you're not going to find that kind of response here.

I must have not read that part :o. I apologize if I came on too strong. The primary gun forum I belong to is really motivated to stopping the antis. We have been motivating the newbies who have joined recently to get involved and help the guys who've been fighting in their stead for a long time...

Most here have been fighting this fight for a LONG time, probably longer than you have been alive.

We've heard all of the lies/talking points many times over and have fought the fight so that you can still own/buy guns today.

Pickup the torch and join us, using whatever means you have and don't pick fights with ANY pro gun people/groups, for any reason.

As you can see by what goes on in Washington the only thing any of them fear is your vote because it will send them back home.

Well said Tilos. You don't speak often but when you do it's meaningful.

And KC, I didn't mean we don't people to stand up for gun rights, but when you post a video of public enemy #1 (or is it 2 or 3....I can't keep count at this point), its the same old same old. It would be like posting a video of piers morgan being an ass and expecting people to say "Oh Wow, I didn't realize he was an ass, i no longer support his stupid ideas". At this point, Feinstein lying is just assumed. If you want a real reaction, post a video of her being open, honest, and saying something intelligent!

Do you know how to tell when a politician is lying? Their lips are moving. :)

Being that she is the author of the bill, it can stand repeating with encouragment of foru members to post it on FB, email, or whatever so people who don't dig as deep as we do can learn the lying tyranny that permeates the gun grabber's motives and actions.

But please, everyone do more than post on forums where we all (minus a few weirdos) agree. Bombard your Congressmen till they realize their butts will be sent home if any of this flies.

Few weirdo's? I thought I was the only one!

But your absolutely correct, it does little good to preach to the choir. I'm thinking of risking signing up for Facebook (although I'm scared) just so I can stir things up for goodness and right over evil and dumbocrat.

If you are a gun owner you'd better be political or you won't be a gun owner for long. You can take that to the bank.

The R or D after their name means nothing, nor does their NRA rating, once they decide to retire and not be accountable to their district to get the votes, they will screw everyone (ak, the Senator from WV).
They lie to us all the time...lie to them and you go to jail.
There's no need to "educate" anyone except YOUR rep, the only one who fears your vote, the rest could care less.
We will never break this strangle hold they have on us without Congressional term limits.
It's Polosi/Read/Feinstein that's running this show, with the support of the Oman but a waste of time trying to educate anyone but YOUR Senators.

No, you can educate people that actually trust these weasles by showing them videos of such an out-and-out lie like the one in the OP.

Sometimes people who don't have a dog in the fight wake up when they realize their constitutional rights - all of them - are under attack. You see this right now with newbies that are buying gun just because they fear they might not be able to in the future, not because they just wanted one. I've seen this firsthand numerous times in the last month by first-time gun buyers. "And this doohickey does what when I pull it back? Does the shoulder thing go up?"

Good luck getting anyone to change their minds and fired up enough to contact their own Senators on this or any other issue.
The newbs usually have the "OK, I got mine now" mentality, and are not people who have voted in the past, and probably won't in the future.
I'll confess to being a one issue voter who has never contacted my rep about much of anything other than 2A stuff.
But that's just me
