While it i very very cool technology, I don't see any use for most civilians. It would be a novelty at best. You couldn't use it hunting, as your target is too likely to move, and I'm assuming the red dot is painted on a stationary target. Military use is super cool, and the over all idea of it is really neat, especially how it won't let you shoot until its just right.

Now I'm not one to brag, but I get damn near the same results using a rabbits foot and KY windage. :)

I guess this is one area (along with other areas) where I am against technology. Marksmanship used to be taught and something to brag about.

Now??? Why does one need to develop a skill when you can let technology do something for you? I forget the name of the kid's movie, but something about a little robot trying to find some form of life on Earth many years in the future. Man had built technology to take care of them rather than take care of themselves.

This is leading down that path, IMHO.

Very interesting. What with the military is working on in this area civilian attributes are inevitable. Get the price down to 2K-3K I would probably bite.
