So today I received my Christmas gift that had been on order. My wife had gone out and acquired her CPL and got the order for my CM9. I am so excited to prep it and head to the range for break in. I have read from you all so far about the ammo, so I have purchased Winchester Nato 124gr, and Sellier & Bellot 115gr. I also have started reloading so now I only need to find small pistol primers. I carry everyday, either a Taurus TCP738 or PT145 Millenium Pro. Now I have a pistol nearly as small as the TCP and way smaller than the PT145. Thank you all for the postings that I have read and look forward to years of learning from you all.

Nice! Congrats. I think you'll love it. I carry mine every day. Don't get discouraged if it ain't perfect right out of the box. Mine took a little work to get it cycling perfect, but it was worth it.
Zach,
When you shoot, hold it very firmly, keep your thumbs away from the slide lock, and I predict it will perform flawlessly with the ammo you bought.
Congrats on your new acquisition.

Congrats on your CM9 purchase, a great Christmas gift to receive. I also carry mine 24/7 & it replaced my Ruger LCP as my EDC. By following all the pre-range trip preps, mine fired 200 FMJ's & 50 JHP's flawlessly the first range trip. You're gonna love the CM9 like we all do! Enjoy! :D

Thank you all! I am done cleaning it with the brake cleaner solution, trimmed up a few loose hairs of polymer that had shaved on slide, polished the feed ramp, and oiled according to the drawings on the newcomer info page. Gonna shoot this weekend. I held it up to my TCP738 and boy they are seriously close in size. I spent alot of time researching what I wanted and this site has totally helped me. Thanks again and I will be posting about my shooting upcoming.
JFootin - My Permagrin already looks like that without even shooting.
Now to order more magazines and a Crossbreed style mintuck for this.

I use to swear by Crossbreed style holster, but with a gun that small I sure you'll find a Foxx Trapp (what I have) or PJ (I don't have one, but they come highly recommended around here) MUCH more comfortable. I'll never go back to a Crossbreed style holster with anything as small as my P9.

Welcome to KahrTalk!
Congrats on the CM9. My PM9, now about two years old, has become my main carry largely replacing both my P3AT and Glock 26 carry.

I have a galco holster that is similar to a pj holster (style wise) and it is very comfortable with a g27 in it. I cannot wait to try my cm9 in a pj holster. It should be a awesome combination.

The PJ IWB Holster (http://pjholster.com/?page_id=37) is the perfect holster for the CM9. It is so comfortable that you literally can't tell you are carrying your gun. No kidding! 24/7 comfortable. I have to reach back there just behind my hip and touch the gun to tell it is there. The holster weighs an ounce, is super thin and no bigger in any direction than it needs to be. Yet it is tough as nails and holds the gun so securely that it doesn't shift around when you move, so the mass of the gun becomes a part of your body and disappears from your perception.

Congrats on the CM9. I have a P380, and the CM9 is next.

Thanks all. JFootin that holster and mag carrier both look perfect. I will most likely get that one. I also might get the Old Faithfulholster kit that you self assemble. I have a Taurus pt145 pro that I think will work great in that setup. Like others have said though, maybe my new kahr becomes my everyday carry first option....
