Ruger sent this email out today, and I am passing it along to you guys that may not have gotten it. Please keep passing it along to your friends and family.
Easy one step rep. contact in support of your firearm rights... about 46000 people (@6:30 pm 1/12) have used it so far in just a few hours. Way to go Ruger!

I've already sent hand written letters to both of Ohio's senators, my state representative and to the Speaker of the House of representatives.

Done. but if I start getting spam from NRA or Ruger on the e-mail address I typed in there, I'm gonna be pissed!

Thanks Bear, but I didn't join in. First, my representative is a strong supporter of the 2nd and also, with John Linder, wrote the FairTax bill, HR 25. Rob is already well versed on my views regarding guns and several other issues. Second, I seldom give any personal information to anyone except the person I wish to address.

-As far as spam goes I just use a yahoo email addy that is not my main email just in case of spam.
-I understand your concern of sharing personal info O'Dell, I usually feel exactly the same way...No one should do anything they are not comfortable with.
I just want to make it known to the members that may have not gotten the email from Ruger that it is an option... For me, it was the best/easiest way to get my message counted.

I'm usually very careful as well when it comes to sharing my personal info. I figured in this case my normal concerns/precautions are secondary in respect to the second amendment being trampled on, therefore I made an exception. I also agree that no one should do anything they are personally not comfortable with.
Thanks again for posting the link. I hope the effort continues to grow in numbers.

+1
I too resist sharing any personal information - obviously.
But made an exception too.
This are exceptional times we are living in requiring exceptional measures.

Bumping this back up... I just did it again myself, on this day that the new gun ban bill was introduced I thought they should have some new "mail"...looks like almost 3/4 of a million people have used this so far!

I've contacted mine, and heard very positive things back in return. I strongly urge you guys to reach out to your elected officials. Be pressing, but respectful. Encourage them not to COMPROMISE, as I think that's where our trouble will come from
