Craked Follower

I have a new Kahr MK40, and I have purchased some additional magazines. I have shot about 640 rounds so far in the last month. During that time, I have cracked two followers.
This seems excessive on a new gun, and new magazines. I do not believe that I am abusing my magazine.

Has anyone else had issues with cracked followers.

ur not abusing anything, I would send an email to kahr, attn: Jay and state what is happening . It is the bottom of ur feed ramp that is cracking the followers. I would ask Jay to issue a pre pair mailerto send the gun back and let them do the ramp job at kahr. More than likely it ain't gonna get better with more rounds down range either.

SOP for many Kahr mags especially the .40s.
My PM9 split two mags on its first day at the range. POS mags poorly designed and manufactured.
The good news is...Kahr will stand behind their mags and replace them for you. You just have to be inconvenienced while they do.
This should not happen so often with these mags.
I have mags for other brands of firearms that are older than many here on this forum and they have not cracked or split their bodies.

Feed ramp is slamming the follower after last round is chambered. Steel vs. plastic.....Steel wins every time
