This question is for people that have added the Crimson trace to there PM. Did you feel like you still had the same grip or did it make a noticable difference in the feel of it? I can't really tell by looking at pictures but it looks like it takes away about 1/8". With such a small grip to begin with I don't think I want to sacrifice anymore. Thanks for the help in making my decision.

Takes away from where? Mine adds 1/4" to the front of the grip where the activation button is. The portion that grips the bottom of the trigger guard is almost imperceptible. I feel no difference in grip with or without the laser.

I just put a Crimson Trace on my PM40 last night. I too was worried about how the laser would change my grip. I was afraid it would put my hand too low on the frame and maybe even cause my lower finger to not grasp the frame properly. Not to worry. I don't even notice the very slight change in grip. It feels different to me, but not in a bad way.
I'm sold on Crimson Trace. I wouldn't want to carry a gun without them.

CT on my PM9. I too was curious if it would change the amount of usable grip, but I can't tell any perceivable difference.

I love the Crimson Trace on my P45, Grip was not changed enough I even noticed, Only complaint I have is that mine does not have a master on/off switch, I hold the gun the laser is on.
Mine is the LG-434 laser guard version.

has anyone shot +P with the LG 437? If so, did you have to clean your lens?
I shot 200 rds of 115 fmj with no lens issues. Then I shot 4 rds of 100 grain +p pow'r ball, and the lens was filthy and required cleaning.
is it just me or is +p dirty ammo? As long as I have the LG 437 attached, I will use standard pressure ammo.

I'm impressed as well. I thought the thing was in no way going to stay pointed where it should with just those two tiny screws holding it together. But, even when bouncing it off a relatively hard rest each shot, it stays put. On my PM9, after 100 rounds of whatever range ammo I can find, it is pretty dirty and the dot is bigger and dimmer. It is easy to clean though and I don't foresee shooting that many rounds in a defensive situation.

Is this another case wherein you can't buy a holster for it? Kahr's make it tough enough as it is. What's available?

I've had a leather pocket holster for the PM9 w/laser in the For Sale section for weeks with no responses. Either no one has a laser on theirs, or nobody needs one
I should add, it's the one on Kahr's web site. I also have a Desantis nemasis pocket holster, and have ordered a special made one. They are out there, you just have to hunt (except for the two I mentioned). Perhaps more mfgs will come on board now that Kahr is offering the laser on the PM9 from the factory.

I use a pocket stuffer holster.
The PM9 with the LG 437 attached fits perfectly in a nylon Blackhawk size #4 holster.
The LCP is on the bottom with a size #1 Blackhawk holster.

My opinion that the lasor defeats the smallness of a Kahr PM9. For a pistol of this type [close up defense] I prefer no Crimson Trace. For conceal carry it's main use is the 10 foot range and if I need a laser to hit my target I think I will just carry a short 12 guage.

Who makes a pocket holster for that? :33:

Tell the bad guys to always stand within 10 yards in good light. :9:
Lately I shoot better at 10 yards with the PM40 than the T40, both with Novaks...same ammo. The laser thingy seems to preclude use of a real holster (OWB, IWB, shoulder rig) , so now I guess it is just a bed stand, purse or pocket gun.
I am not sure I would even stop to sight at close range, pretty much point and shoot. Having a laser on this little gun is the oddest thing.

Guess who's going to jail if you shoot at them if they are OVER 10 YARDS away? Court's don't look at that as self defense.:(

Hey jeepster--think about an active shooter who is out to kill everyone in sight and then kill themselves. Sure, the street thug robbery situation will be in the 5 yard or less range.
I got the crimson trace for PM9 primarily as a toy or gadget thingie. In low light, I would hope a bright red dot on a thug would be a deterrent so maybe you won't have to shoot. I would rather they surrender when that red dot hits them searching for a tasty target.

Actually, you said "10 foot range", and that's what I meant to parse back at you, not "10 yards".

As far as a holster goes Crossbreed offers one. I'm still undecided as far as sights or laser goes, but I'm leaning towards the XS with standard dot.
