New CM9 Owner....

I just picked up my new CM9. I haven't had any time with it yet but I had one quick (but possibly stupid) question.

Should the CM9 have come with a plastic case of some sort? Mine came in a fancy cardboard box, but no case.

I was just curious.

They used to come in a plastic case but I understand they don't anymore. Welcome to the group and enjoy that great little pistol.

Mine came with a fancy white box with Kahr labeling. I used duct tape to craft it into a nice tactical style upper leg holster for everyday carry. If it had been plastic I would have had to stack it with the other nice plastic pistol boxes I never use. When not on my person, I keep my CM9 in a Walmart bank bag in my gun safe. Wear it all times like I do and save yourself some money on the case....... lol! I am sure you will love your CM. I just got mine recently and I already don't know how I got along without it!

I believe you made a great choice in picking up a CM9 especially, in my opinion, if you're thinking about pocket carry.

I recently purchased a CM9 myself, and I love it! It's one of the most satisfying purchases I've ever made. I agree that it's a great choice for pocket carry. I use a DeSantis "Superfly" pocket holster, which is similar to the Nemesis (which I also own) but is made from tackier material and has a little velcro flap that lessens the printing through. What a pleasure to shoot; I hope you enjoy yours in the best of health!

just not sure u can get a much smaller 9 that does so much and shoots so nice. they are built like a tank and the more rounds u put out the barrelthe better then gun even gets. My 32K PM9 is smooter than butter on bread, unbelievable to say the least.
