First trip to range with CM9

Ok so I finally go her to the range after waiting and cleaning. So I must say that shooting this pistol was a blast. It was so very accurate! I shot a box of Winchester Nato 124gr and the recoil was very manageable, the trigger was so smooth and the sights were very easy to use. I shot it very well for the first time out with a Kahr trigger..... really nice groups. I love this gun already. On to the downer.....I am breaking it down to clean and I break down the magazine to find that the lower front portion of the follower has broken off. The portion that broke off is completely inside the magazine. The follower is still functional and it doesn't look as though it will cause a problem (at the range). I have another 150 rounds before I am done with breaking it in and I am sort of stuck with what to do? I think I will order another magazine, then when I have that one, I will send this one back to Kahr for repair. That is the only bummer of the day. I really felt good about the trip and know that this will become my EDC for sure. Any advice would be appreciated.

Same thing happened to my cm9. I took a picture of the broken follower and emailed it to Kahr, and included my address. Within five minutes I had an email reply that they were sending a replacement follower.

Wow thanks for the heads up. I thought I may just buy a new follower for $11 instead of shipping, but sounds like they should hook me up.
Did yours still function properly?

No, caused two ftf out of five shots in the mag. I bought another mag from local gun shop. It took 8 days to receive the new follower from Kahr....but that was over Christmas and New Years. I have not have one problem since.

Hoorah for Kahr. I made the phone call for a replacement follower for my magazine this morning and the conversation went like this:
Her - Wlecome to Kahr Arms
Me - Hello I have a great new pistol with a broken follower
Her - Oh no, what is your address so we can send you a new one?
Me - Here it is.............
Her - Ok about 1 week US mail.
Me - Sweet Thanks:)

Gotta love their policy!
