Looks like Robar has done some work on that one.

I wonder if the beavertail really helps. I'd like to know. Anyone here own this one?

The custom work did not improve the looks of that pistol.

I don't know about this one, but Ljutic has a P45 done in similar(if not identical) fashion. There are some photos of his here: http://kahrtalk.com/showpost.php?p=86869&postcount=7 was-my.html

The Facebook page said it is going to be introduced at the shot show with the cw380 and the new desert eagle 1911.

Beauty is definitely in the eye of the beholder! OW! It's better looking than Jocko's custom PM9.:D

I like the simple, clean look of the P/PM/K/MK lines. The T-series grips are too long to me and I don't see the need for the bulbous "beaverbutt" at the top rear of the grip or the stipling... but to each his own. Tools don't have to be beautiful... just functional... but simplicity in design is quite often... or sometimes... ART!

That said, the grip serrations on the slide are not easy to hang onto... and though it detracts form the clean lines, some on the front are very useful.

Just my 2¢... or so!

+1 on the K45! I would definitely make room in my arsenal for that.

The K45 was on the op of my "list" since I got my K9 back in early '98. I didn't get the PM45 until early 2010 after having the P380 on order for 10 months and a month after the PM9... my first Polymer... in hand!

Greg is probably right. That looks like a Robar custom. But is that a customized PM45 slide on a P45 frame? I don't see anything like that on the Kahr website. All the pistols have slides that come all the way to the back of the frame.

When I go to Kahr Arms in Facebook, I don't see this. Hey, addictedhealer, can you post a link to the page you were looking at?

Only thing I can attest to is the texture Robar puts on the grip works very well. I sent all of our dept Glocks down for that texture. Many got grip reductions, some left factory. The texture helps the grip a lot.

I don't see any need for the beavertail myself either, they do that same thing to other tupperware guns as well.

I'm curious what the new Desert Eagle 1911 might be about. I better try to research that.
