If you were buying a handgun to serve many rolls , range , home. monday night match's and some CC and the only to choice were a TP 40 or glock 35 assuming ether can be found what would you buy. This one has me twisted. I CC kahrs and understand the want for the same trigger and feel yet I would like the longer sight radius, higher velocity and better trigger pull and enjoy shooting glocks. Price's are about the same too. I have been back and forth for 4 days.

G19 for the one and only gujn if I had to choose. For carry there is nuttin like my PMJ9..
sorry about that . I am just so prone to 9's I can't see utters out there. I still would pick the glock for one thing my wife can clear, shoot and rack my G19 with total ease, She just cannot handle any of my kahrs other than pulling the trigger. Just sayin

If you're considering one for matches and such, look at the K or T series guns
I don't understand your dilemma. Those are two completely different guns. Aside from caliber, they have nothing in common.
If I could keep only one handgun, it would be a Glock 23. Small enough to conceal, and holds 13 + 1. And, it is chambered for your choice of round (.40).

I guess the question would be, do you intend to CC or shoot targets more with this one? The Glock barrel is 1.3" longer and has a higher capacity, but the Kahr is smaller and lighter. Made in USA is an important consideration for me, but you didn't mention this... If it were me, based on these things, I'd choose the shorter barrel and practice more. :)

I allready carry ether a cm9 or cw9. Just looking for a 40 with longer barrel and more weight than the cw or P class kahrs but not a lard but all metal version. This hand gun will by far be more play than carry but most be able to work smartly for CC too.
At that point the glock line or M&P linessems to look way better as NO TP40 can be found at this time. Atleast in the wholesalers.
Guys don't get sidetracked with brand or model XYZ . I am looking at only a couple pistols.
JACKO Your right on with the glock 19 as a one and only as my wife is about the same way. She is not found of my kahrs but does shoot the heck out of her M&P9C .
I just happen to have a 40 sigma that a son-in-law wants thats been our house gun for several years along with a little ammo. That leaves me with a large pile of 40sw ammo still. Might as well buy a pistol so that ammo does not have to be sold or traded!!
Just ran down to our LGS and had a gal there run a search for a g35 or a TP40 with there wholesalers and it not look'n real good for ether. The owner can seem to find one if its out there. soooo! Till monday. Might have to add a M&P 40L to the list but thats it.
RRP IF only one handgun it would be the g19. Thankfully it will be 1 of 11 or 12
Mike brownhouse Note my first line said range , home, monday night matchs and some cc. Weight difference between the Kahr TP40 at 22oz with mag and a g35 at 24.5oz with mag. Not much difference is it. I all ready own a cw9 and cm9 for cc and I do practice quit abit. This ain't about getting better with one gun. I have been shoot and hunting with handguns for 36 years .
About the made in usa thang . I buy what serve a need best. If you think you are a buy american only person better read up on what you drive, cloths you wear, appliances you cook on to the food you eat and the kahr you own. Just because something is made here does not allways mean the profits stay here.

I'd go Glock without question. I don't see the Kahr as a match trigger. I'm not a big Glock fan, have a 21, had several but never fell in love.

My Glock 19 is a great EDC. 16 rounds of 9mm +p and still very concealable IWB. Extra mag is a G17 17-round mag. That's mighty comforting. Shoots like a champ, and 9mm gives easy follow up shots.
The G26 is also a good EDC, but if you carry it with a longer higher cap mag sticking out of it like some folks I know, you might as well have just gotten the G19 IYKWIM.

What's the dilemma? Buy them both. It's only money. Problem solved.

I pondered the same thing. It was between the glock 19 and a TP9. I got the TP9. But then got a Sig P250 as well. Pretty content with my semi auto collection now. But a Glock 19 is still on my 'someday' list.
I got the TP as the range/home/competition alternative to my ccw P9. I now find I carry the TP everywhere.
can't go wrong with the glock 19 (or 23 in your case) as the all-pupose solution. But I personally just didn't want that glock trigger as my all-purpose trigger.
