Excellent. Glad they are doing this. Will have to place an order with them next time around in support of their stance.

Thanks Cabela's!

Ditto. $upport those in business who will stand back to back with us! I think I'm going to have to see what they have, online, that I might need to buy, too.

Yeah I'm definitely going to make a trip to cabelas next week, they've earned more of my business with this move.

Wow, proud to say my last few ammo orders have came from them. Next orders will go to them as well. We need more companies like them

Good move on the part of Cabela's.
More dealers should be doing the same.

Shame on the PA outdoor show. I guess that they don't believe participating in military match competition is a family oriented sport. I'm going to send a thank you letter to Cabelas.

Cabela's is big enough to leave their money on the table by pulling out. Most of the exhibitors are smaller operations and would leave 6-8k on the table if they dropped out now. Some are taking the stand regardless of the financial consequences.

The list of companies who are pulling out is here:

Ya know, 90% of the people that go to these shows are 2nd Amendment believers, now they need to boycott the show also! I hope that word is getting spread around too.

I know I won't be going this year, maybe even never again. It is a shame because it is a show I did like to go to every few years.

I'm fortunate to live only 45 miles from cabelas wheeling location. My last purchase was about a month ago. I picked up a few extra AK Mags and an 18.5" barrel with a breachers choke for my 870. The 870 is what I prefer for my bump in the night checker. Works great with the sure fire mounted on magazine tube.

You mean it's in Shangri La this year? Isn't that the place where you can't leave your shoes alone or they get stolen?

Maybe that's the Bahamas? Where the heck is Shag the Grila anyhow?

The best thing you can do to thank all the vendors who at the moment have left thousands on the table by bailing on this show (Reed Exhibitions refuses to refund and money for cancellations) is to watch this site:
http://mynortheastoutdoors.com/esos-boycott-supporters/

They are in the process of putting up a website: (www.MyNortheastClassifieds.com) for those vendors to advertise their wares and make sort of a virtual show as a substitute for the one they bailed on. It will go live on Feb 2 to dovetail with the actual show.

Keep watching. More and more are bailing each day.
