After two hip replacements, I thought I'd have to give up IWB carry because of holster pressure. I tried Alessi Talon Plus, Crossbreed, and Galco Stop n Go. All failed. Then I stumbled across N82 IWB Tactical holsters ($39.95) on youtube and bought one for my PM9. It is simply the best, most comfortable IWB I've ever tried (except for Sparks Summer Special which doesn't work well IMO with short barreled handguns).
It has a smooth cushioned leather side against your body with a neoprene sheet inside to stop sweat from penetrating and hooks to the belt or waistband with the usual metal clip. The holster body itself is nylon that molds to the gun with use. Driving, sitting and walking it is a pleasure to wear at 3:30 or 4 o'clock and no nerve pressure on the hip. For pocket carry I use a DiSantis Nemisis which works well. There is a more expensive Professional model for $69.95 with a rigid polymer pocket instead of nylon that is better for re-holstering. On his podcast Michael Bane raves about them and they are all US made. I hope this helps those who in the past have been sensitive to IWB carry in the hip area. Let me know what you think.
