Just got back from the range. It was the first time out with my new CW9. 400 rounds later...very happy. Very accurate, as muct if not more than my full size SR9. Out of the 400 shot, mix of fmj, hp and lead reloads, only 2 stovepipes. I blame those on some very light reloads I wanted to try. The grip did not bother me at all, even after 2 hours of shooting. I heard about the "cheese grater", but it wasn't bad. All in all, I'm keeping it. :D

I didn't think it was aggressive enough :D

I have the CW9 and the SR9 also. Both are nice guns the trigger on the CW is so much nicer then the Ruger it is crazy.
Enjoy!!!

I've owned Kahrs since the early days back in the mid 90's but the CW9 is the gun that I carry every day I leave my house. I see no point in changing that.
It is pretty amazing to me that a pistol this light can be so accurate. I hope you enjoy yours as much as I do mine.

Seems to be the general consensus around here. The CW9 is a great gun. Every time I get mine out to the range it draws attention.

As far as the grip design I think it is a little over aggressive for long sessions of range shooting, But that is not the reason it is that way. It is that way because it is a fighting gun. In a gun fight you hands may be sweating, It may be raining or even worse you may to grip it when it is bloody:eek: Gun fights are not pretty things:(
Also you may have to grip that thing with all your strength if the bad guy tries to take the gun away from you:eek:
All and all I'm glad they designed it the way they did. This is not a target pistol. This is a fighting pistol. A very good one.
