Can't be a Glock, it's too thin. Gotta be a Kahr. No, she was throwing it in the trash; must be a Kel Tec. :D

My daughter doodled a cowboy twirling a lasso and brandishing a pistol on her homework this week. Nothing happened. Catholic schools rock.

The anti-2A indoctrination is being ramped up with fervor.
Our children and grandchildren are bombarded each day with the thought that guns are bad and anyone carrying one is bad.
This poor little kid was taunted by classmates and called a killer. Where'd that come from?

The proposals that teachers should be tasked with carrying firearms scares hell out of me. At least here in the Northeast, in my little corner of PA, teachers are predominantly Liberal, predominantly Unionized and the few I know personally are not the sort I'd want carrying a gun on school property. Translated: Nutburgers. Certainly not ALL educators are like this but opinions are formed by personal experience.

In 15 or 20 years, I truly believe this country will voluntarily abolish the 2nd amendment because the majority of the populace will have been brainwashed to believe guns are unnecessary and evil.

I don't think the NRA and all the spinoff organizations can ultimately stop the flood. We can't go into the schools and brainwash little minds daily.
In 15 or 20 years it likely won't matter much to me personally, since I'll be pretty advanced or gone. But it really pains me that my children will have to suffer the consequences.

Agreed. Liberal isn't inherently bad. Thinking people are entitled to their views. The folk that invent and enforce rules like the one(s) in this case, however, are just suck up PC, butt covering, moronic robots apparently incapable of intelligent thought.

I drinkcoffee with a retired lady school teacher now in her mid 60's. People tell me she was an excellent teacher, taught elementary. But this womancannot poor piss out of a boot, she is just that stupid about what is going o in the real world. She tend s to talk to people as if she is taling to her elementary kids. She is just one dumb b!tch BUT EDUCATED.

Best we can do is have take a kid to the range day every day we go. I do whenever I possibly can.

I've taken kids who come through the dept on tours. Usually the teachers don't want much to do with the armory but sometimes. It's just a dang broom closet basically anyhow. But I watch kids that seem interested and if they happen to have their parent along, most of them do I try to hook em up.

I quite frequently try to get kids that are watching dad shoot shooting. Sometimes young fathers you know, don't have many guns, maybe only one carry gun. I always have at least one 22 along and usually have a 22 rifle along or in the van just for such an occasion.

Made a lot of little kids (boys and girls and even moms) day several times.
Made my day doing it too.

The papergun shown in the news piece was the girls recreation, showing a similar weapon to the one she smuggled into school.

No doubt the original was manufactured out of paper cut from a rather thick edition of Good Housekeeping... yes... from a high capacity magazine.

Let's not confuse "liberals" with anti-gun activists, please. I am happily called a liberal, but also happily pro-gun, pro-drug and just about pro-everything else...
