Just when I thought I was done buying guns... Ruger comes out with this:

I like the Commander size better... but it's still a single stack and now I want more "capacity" in a compact package. I have the single stacks covered with Kahrs galore... and my Safe Queen the S.A. Champion.

Oh, the safe queen is guarded by my "spare" P380!

Looks really nice but I'd fix that by adding skateboard tape to that smooth front strap.

After one pass through the last gun show, I was ready to buy a 22/45 Lite with threaded barrel for $419 vs. $499 retail. I asked a guy who was looking at one about how long it might take... it happens that he had been waiting for his 45 minutes and was #5 in the queue now. I figured at least an hour if everything went well... so I bailed and just made another quick look around before leaving the show. A long wait is not my usual IMPULSE BUY.
I kind of had an eye out out for a G19C or maybe a G23C and mags for G19 or G23, but none to be had and any mags were $50 each IF they had any. I did see some cheap plastic ones... used for $25 and $50, too, but only real Glock mags were what I had in mind. I was just checking availability on the G19 mags, mainly.

Awesome, I could never convince the wife I need a commander size ruger but I don't have a Remington in any flavor so a commander size Remington should be a walk in the park right?
Worth a shot anyhow.

How much are both going for?
I was surprised to see both the Ruger and the Remington at my local gun shop, yesterday. I fondled them, but didn't buy. I've been second guessing that decision since I walked out of the store. It could be months before I get another chance.

Amen brother, course in my case I'm lost either way. I leave it and live painfully, or I buy it and live extremely painfully when the missus finds out.
There has to be a solution somewhere, somehow.

Bawanna, when you get to the point where your wife starts referring to you collection as, "all of those guns", you've got it made. I had so many that my wife couldn't tell when I added a new one. Unfortunately, like yours, mine were all lost in a tragic boating accident. Should have had the wife on the boat instead. Damn the luck. :)
