I've been looking at these grips for awhile now and the reason is I pocket carry and was wanting something that I can grab on to alittle better. Has anyone use talon rubber grips? thanks

I put these on my glock 23 and absolutely love them. Very grippy and, although very thin, there was also a noticable reduction in discomfort after a long bout of shooting .40s down range. Fairly quick and easy to install, as well.

I also have a set on order for my new CM40, which should be arriving tomorrow.

I just installed a set of the rubberized Talons on my CM9 and I like them a lot so far. I had ordered a Hogue Handall Jr for it also and wanted to try it first before putting the Talons on, but after waiting a couple weeks it never shipped so I cancelled it and installed the Talons. Today I saw the Hogues in my LGS, figures. My fingers are thanking me for installing the Talons over the cheese grater grips.

I put them on my CM9 & Glock26 & love 'em. They are very comfy when at the range. Highly recommend them for your CM9. :D

How much over all width do they add? I'd think it'd be minimal, but one of the appeals of the cm9 to me is its sexy slenderness

Almost none, the grip is just a sticky adhesive backed skateboard tape (for the rough one) and the rubberized is the same thickness. It'd say it's barely thicker than duct tape.

Oh ok, great. I couldn't really tell from pictures I've seen online.

I have also added the rubber talon grips to my CM9. Awesome is all I can say! Great customer service and you can't beat the free shipping and ease of applying to your gun. I have not had the chance to shoot with it yet to tell a difference. It does not add bulk to your gun. Very happy with them and highly recommend them to anyone.

Thanks for all the help, I went ahead and order one for my cm9. But I guss here is another question, What kind of ankle holsters are good for the cm9?

I have them on my Shield. They are a great addition. I have the rubberized version.

After my first few times to the range with the CM9; I add the rubberized Talon Grips. Made a nice difference. I also added two of the Pearce Grip extensions... jury is still out on these. My wife like the extension, however I am not certain.
The Talon Grips are a winner!

Is anyone pocket carrying with the Talon (or any) rubber grips? I'd think the rubber would also "grip" the pocket and make it difficult to quickly remove in the instance needed.

I pocket carry my Rubberized Gripped CM9 daily with no problems. You grip the grip, thereby nullifying any grab of the pocket by the Talon Grips. Getting a clean draw from the holster is my one & only concern. :D

I've been thinking of a set of Talons for my CM9, but I'm sure which texture to get? I'm leaning towards the rubber ones right now....

IMHO, a good choice for the CM9. The Rubber Grips are perfect for eliminating the "Cheese Grater" feel of the CM9 grip, front & rear. I don't want/need a "Sandpaper/Grit" feel on mine. :D

I got mine in today and I have to say I really like the feel of the gun alot better now. I didn't have the chance today to shoot my cm9 but hopefully I'll get the chance in a couple of days...

Same here - got mine today, and I like the feel. I see one corner trying to peal already...might have to round that corner off in the future or something.
Haven't been to the range with it yet, but so far I like it.

Did you cut the grip so that it did not overlap? I trimmed my edge so that it mated right up against the other edge. I also hit it with the hair dryer so that it molded well. It has not even begun to look like to would come loose.
I really like these grips (rubberized version).

Got the rubberized Talons on my Glock 19 and PM9, love 'em. They don't seem to impede draw from pocket carry in the least. I've heard differently about their granulated grips, though.

So far, I love the Talons. Feel great and and visually, they are almost imperceptible. Can still pocket carry without issue.

FWIW, the Pearce extension feels good, but had no effect on the range.
I have the rubberized Talons on my PM9 and M&P45. Like Tony says: They're Grrrreat.

I used them on my Glock 30 I purchased the CM9 yesterday and today ordered them for the CM9 also. You need a hair dryer to put them on but they are AWESOME dude just great. Gives you so much more grip on the gun. GET THEM over all the other ones like it on the market. I love it. Saw a pic of a CM9 with one and it makes the gun look really cool also besides being 100% functional.
