Made in the USA at Lake City Arsenal. 5.56mm green tip 62 grain Penetrator ammunition.
This ammo is brass case, reloadable and non-corrosive.
This is beautiful ammo available at a special purchase price.
Observed headstamps were all 2012.
This ammo is loose packed 1000 rounds per box more or less up to 5%, 2 boxes per factory case.

Keep in mind when purchasing this ammo that it is loose packed by the factory and count is determined by weight.
Normally it is very close to 1000, but sometimes you will get a little more
and sometimes you will get a little less than 1000.
It will be close, but expect some variation within 5% from 1000 rounds per case

I almost had a split second flicker of buyers remorse with the 1000 case at inflated prices.
Even manufacturer reserves seem to have been tapped and vaporized.
And .223/5.56 ammo of any type, other than tracers and blanks, are gone.
Even at double and triple the cost of one year ago.

So today? I feel fine.

I bought a Norinco MAK90 in the early 90s for 135.00 and I was looking in gunbroker and they're selling them for 1,200.00+.I'm very tempted to sale it, I've only taken it out twice, I love it, it shoots like a dream and pretty dang accurate, I just don't like cleaning rifles. So I put new furniture and if it keeps goin up, oh well
