CZ-USA P-09 Duty 19+1 9mm – SHOT Show 2013

CZ-USA says there is no other handgun out there
with a higher flush-fitting magazine capacity than the company’s new P-09 Duty.
I certainly don’t know another, but any way you look at it, 19+1 in 9 mm
and 16+1 in the .40 S&W chambering is impressive. MSRP is $528

I really like the CZ...may look into one, but I will say if we're just looking at flush fit handgun capacity, the FN Five-seveN has 20 round mags....and the full size XD(M) in 9mm ALSO has 19 round mags, with the .40 holding 16. I guess it depends on their definition of "flush fit". To me the XD is Flush, even with the plastic footy, it's "part" of the grip.

Don't get me wrong, I'd rather have the CZ over the XD.....I'm just saying that's a bold claim.

Is it worth three extra rounds to give up the heft of the steel frame? I've been considering replacing my 75 B I foolishly sold years ago, but now this has me considering....I don't know that I'm sold on it's looks though. After Handling my new K9, I think I'm really sold on the heft of Steel making me a better shooter...But I can shoot several poly guns with very sharp accuracy (just not XDs :001_huh: )

I like that PO9. It would go nicely as a sidearm to that Tavor that was also at the show. :)
