My brother sent this video to me just now and let me tell you... it hits home...

Not sure if it's been posted on here before or not, but either way, it deserves attention.

I am fortunate enough to have several of my Grandaddy's guns, including my first deer rifle, a Winchester model 94 given to me on my 13th birthday.

Do any of you still have your "Grandaddy's Gun". If so, what are they?

I have an Ithaca 37 and Savage 23a. Love those guns.

Very nice song! I have my grandpa's 1895 double barrel hammered American Gun Company 12 gauge.

Shortly before he died someone broke in and stole most of his guns, and most of my grandma's jewelry.....they never found any of them/found out who did it (luckily for them)

I have and used my grandfathers 1917 Enfield 30-06 that he bought surplus and sporterized himself. Only gun I ever recall him hunting with. My dad got the same gun and did the same thing. I have that one too. He didn't mess with the metal at all so I put it back in it's military configuration.

Also have a 32-30 Winchester and a 10ga Lever Action Winchester shotgun that he had as well. I cherish them and will never part with them.

My grandfather didn't own any guns and most of my father's guns were passed on to my son. I wanted him to have them while he was still young enough to enjoy them. Two of my guns were made by my father and those won't go until I do. I hope that they're put to good use.

I've got three from my two grandfathers. Haven't shot any of them, nor do I plan to. Two side by sides, one 12ga and on 16ga, and a semi-auto Franchi Brescia.

My wife has a list of what MUST be passed on to grandkids, nieces and nephews. The rest she can sell and have a heck of party.
