Yay. Throw money at the problem and bloat some more government bureaucracies.

Holy Bill of Rights, Batman! $266,000 per officer! Where do I sign up? Oh, wait! I get it, $241,000 of that goes to "administrative" costs and the officer gets the other $25,000.

More useless spending paid by those of us who produce to those who do not.

They could have funded guards for schools... hiring ex-military and police... but too useful and they don't want to support the NRA's suggestion.

Obama will claim that he did what the NRA wanted and blame them for all the money spent.

There was a report on Hannity today that talked about the presidential over-reach.
That's when Any Elected official then does things NEVER mention during the campaign!
Ie Gun Control Gay Marriage/rights and other subjects that were brought up in the inauguration speeches.
The point is, that what usually causes rifts in his own party... and we are starting to see Democrats up for re-election backing off the Gun stuff including the king of fools Harry Reid

Except for improving the efficiency of the national background check system, all those proposals are state and local business. The feds need to butt out and let the states & communities decide what level of response they are willing to formulate.
