These are pictures from my 2012-11-16 range trip:
I tried a variety of ammo with the new ported barrel.
First is the Sellier & Bellot 124-gr FMJ... nice range ammo.
The first few shots didn't show the flash well... more in next post.

Some more S&B 124FMJ. I had ONE FTFire... second try fired. S&B seemed mild and low flash... hard to catch in 30 frames per second!

Now CCI Blazer Aluminum-cased 124-gr FMJ. Then target... typical jerking left and left.

Now some Walmart Federal Champion 115-grain FMJ. I bought a lot of this during the LAST "shortage" in 2010 for less than $10 a box with 6-box limit. It's seemingly more powerful and brighter.

Now some HEAVY stuff... Double Tap +P 124-grain Gold Dots. I had several problems with the first magazine of this powerful stuff!
Round 2 slide locked back prematurely.
Round 4 mag released... finger?
6 ok, round 7 fired with magazine removed... ok.
Two firing frames and then one 3-frame sequence. Note the stuff flying rearward... eye protection a must!

I stay away from the 2" square at 15 yards so I can use it closer at 7 yards.

Nice photos, did u notice in photo 4 second row on the right. That flame is coming out of the breech area before any place else first.

The muzzle flash is already mostly gone at that instant. You can see a small burning powder trail or two out front. Sometimes there is flash from under the slide on the left side and the rear... hence the warning about eye protection.
