Do a little google search on Police/Fema camps the Government has built (Hundreds of them) and Hidden Plastic coffins (1000's), and the Huge local agency ammo purchases and now the recently announce Homeland Youth program. It sounds crazy but.....
And now add in the very serious Gun Grab/almost weekly AR attacks in the papers...and the very clear attempt to wipe out the republican party.
I'm not much a believer in co-incidence.

If you believe Snopes is the all knowing then you go with that. Snopes is a bunch of ultra liberal internet scanners. I know our government better that that. Like when Richard nixon announced we weren't in Laos and Cambodia and I LZ'd there when he told that to Americans. I wouldn't doubt Snopes takes direction from the Government. The Finestein bill had total confiscation in it originally. Some smart Democrats told her to remove it, due to the loss in '94. Now as far as her bill goes, I do not believe it has enough votes to get it passed. Now, who is going to enforce it. There are some 90 million gun owners, with over 200 million guns. Local Sheriffs are standing with the gun owners, saying they will not enforce unconstitutional laws. The Marines don't like POTUS and no help there. Most military wouldn't shoot citizens, the NG won't do it either, most would leave their families open for retribution. He would have build his "special" troops to try and confiscate them. Too many people not enforcing the laws, would eliminate the thought of confiscation. Just my .02.....

Took them a few years, but even they realized it was futile and a massive financial boondoggle - so they repealed it last year.

I think the DHS is preparing for civil unrest. A gun grab, or a failure of the welfare system, disruption of the food supply, are all ways that riots could start, and the government is prepared or preparing for it. They just added a litmus test for Officers, "Would you fire upon US Citizens" and a no answer will get you thrown out of the service. Or at least claims of such have been on the Alternate News lately. I wouldn't expect to see anything about it on the major news outlets. Our government lies to us routinely. How many still believe Lee Harvey Oswald was the lone assassin? Well if you don't then you're a conspiracy theorist. Doubt any of the pablum the media feeds us and we are conspiracy theorists. Until the theory proves to be true. The Conspiracy Theorists that doubted the official version of MLK's murder were vindicated in 1999 when the King family won a verdict that there was a conspiracy at work to Murder MLK, in the Circuit Court of Shelby County, Tennessee, 30th Judicial District at Memphis.
If you doubted that a film caused the Benghazi riots, you were a conspiracy theorist, but when the truth did come out, it was no longer a conspiracy. Labeling things a Conspiracy Theory is just a convenient way to ignore the truth.

Supposedly it just started, but there are few mentions of it on it on youtube. I wouldn't expect to see it on Mainstream Media, maybe Fox. Sounded like they were testing out the higher ranks first. To see if a General would order his troops to engage US citizens. This is all very recent. I just started hearing about this a couple days ago. Again, I don't know if it's even happening or not, just heard about it from some internet news source. This is one we'll just have to keep track of to see if it pans out. The thing is, I wouldn't put it past Obama to institute such a thing. Rumour has it that quite a few troops are being trained to attack American citizens, like they did after Katrina, to confiscate any weapons or whatever they want. The news will report on their training excercises once in awhile, usually labeled as a response to a terrorist attack. And who does Obama think of as potential terrorists? Us poor people clinging to our guns and our bibles.
