Oops! Several years old and probably been viewed by most.

Yeah, when the FBI violent crime statistics were posted here recently the first thing i thought was that it lines up with the states updating and issuing CCW Permits. More carrying and owning individuals = less violence.

But what do I know, I'm not a media elite like piers Morgan ( or Morgan the Peter I should say)

The Constitution and Bill of rights are a lot older, but too few people are aware of what is in them.

One time, a liberal told me I was a poor excuse of a U.S. citizen because I haven't read Carl Marx's socialist B.S. I haven't read Mein Kampf, either. But, since when is Marx required reading for American citizens? In retrospect, I should have inquired if he had read the Federalist Papers. I'm betting he hadn't.

Liberals are enemies in our midst. They hate the free market and personal liberty. In their twisted minds, they think America is fundamentally immoral and unfair. While at the same time, it is their influence that has introduced the most truly wicked stuff into our society such as abortion, gun free zones and personal income tax.

Common sense seems to elude the liberal mindset when it comes to the 2nd Amendment.

I have read all the above and the Anti-Federalist Papers, which few have heard about much less read and understood. Liberal literature is interesting in that it gives insights into the liberal mindset and ways to pick apart there philosophy vs Conservative thought.

You really cannot effectively debate/counteract with a liberal unless you know there mindset. Keep your friends close, your enemies in your pocket.

I've often said that liberals are conservatives who haven't been mugged yet. A friend of mine was a little left of center until someone stuck a gun in his face and robbed him and his wife as they left the theater. Now he's a conservative who carries 24/7. Funny how a little thing like that can change your mind.

Oh, this guy is far from stupid. Extremely high I.Q. Worked with geniuses at Bell Labs. I don't guess he could have come out any different, being involved with academia/research in the Northeast. Funny thing, though. He is a gun owner and carries concealed.

I've worked with some of those Bell Labs guys. High technical abilities and IQ's, and some complete morons. Don't know to come in out of the rain.

Some people are so smart that they think they know everything. I tell them what I told my kids when they were young, "You don't even know what you don't know."

A lot of them are arrogant like Sheldon on "Big Bang Theory." They think their gift makes them superior in every way, a new stage in the evolution of man. But every one of these brainiacks I have known are woefully inadequate in other areas such as social interaction and common sense. I have heard it said that Albert Einstein couldn't tie his shoes. Of course, Sheldon is a comedic exaggeration of this tendency. A really funny show. :)
