Does anyone know how to disassemble the grip on the PM9? I understand it is not advised by Kahr. Just like to know everything about all the firearms I own.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks, Andy

This is all I can find. I like to know about mine too but was not willing to undertake this:

Thanks bumpfire for the post. After reading the details of the grip disassembly I can understand why you did not want to try it. It's not like a Glock at all. I guess I'll just clean & lub it and leave well enough alone.

Thanks again, Andy (big bear)

indeed don't mess with taking the grip area apart. It is a ***** to say the least and you accomplish nothing at all. everything can be serviced from the top part of the grip. any good gun spray cleaner will clean literally everything in that grip area. a drop of oil here and there and it is good to go. The trigger set up is held in by a pin that goes through the grip as one can see and then that pin is actually locked in place by another set pin (which you cannot take out at all) that is right besides the trigger guard. I actually holds that trigger pin from moving and if you try to pop that trigger pin out which is a bugger by the way, u can also damage that set pin and then you have issues. LEAVE the lower section alone.

i have over 24,850 ruonds through my PM9 and I have never ever had the side panel off to do anything, there just is no need to, and being that the newer modles today have a torx screw that holds that side panel in place and that little dinky screw actualy threads right into the polymer gip, the more you take that out the more you will ruin the threads and then you will need another grip. AGAIN LEAVE THAT SIDE PANEL ALONE .they used to hold that side panel in with a pin that went all the way through the grip and to me it seemed much more durable than the torx tiny screw they are using today but that is just my opinion.

some things are meant to be looked at and not messed with if you get my drift. I have a nice watch but have no desire to take it apart either...
