A fellow on a Texas sportsboard bought himself a CM9, so I gave him the link to this forum and advised him to follow the new Kahr prep & break in instructions here.

He posted this today:


A buddy of mine bought a Kahr CM40 and (didn't) listen to armybrat...he didn't do the pre-shoot breakdown and now he's having some massive jam issues. I did the pre-shoot breakdown of my CM9 and it hasn't jammed once in 200+ shots.

A co-worker was reading a thread researching something on guns.

Me too, I guess it was foolish to use my real name on this sort of stuff.

We can change your user name here if it helps. We don't want a mass influx of request for name changes of course but it can be done at admins approval. After your first picture I'm sure we'll all know who your are.

I did that right before I enlisted. The best results were when I traded with the girls. Comedy.

I've recommended the site to anyone who ends up buying a Kahr. Even helped one customer save a few bucks by buying a used PM45 (that I've had my eye on) instead of buying a new one. Explained about the 200 rd break in and that the PO may have just saved him some range ammo.

He left a very happy customer!

No it's not. I'm not sure there were cameras or anything resembling them that long ago. Maybe if it was B&W, I could see that, then again, nope.
