I'm halfway through his book right now, and I teared up when I heard. He served his country well, may God rest his soul

Grateful for his service. I think there are some facts that are missing regarding the murder. What the heck happened?!

The media is now going to jump on the Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome thing and why those guys are using guns...now any veteran can snap. Bad timing.

a real American lost there. So sad and he was just trying to do what our government doesn't seemto wantto acknowledge..

What seems strange to me is that these murders of newsworthy famious people are being murdered 1 at a time to keep the Gun Ban theme in front of the masses of people and in the News. Are we being attacked from within? There are too many of these shootings to be just a coincidence.

I was thinking the same thing, Ikeo74.

We agree completely!
Why don't they publish the number of death's by bludgeoning, strangling, or from stab wounds? --------Apparently it doesn't further their AGENDA!

Personally, I would rather be shot than any of the above>

Have you seen the movie "shooter" with Mark Wahlberg? It came out prior to 2008, pre-obummer.

RIP Chris and God Bless His family and friends.

There is a severe lack of details in that article, who was the person that shot him and why?
tragic in itself.

Sh!t happens. People get shot every day. No mystery, no conspiracy. It's why we carry guns. This one made the national news, because it was news worthy. Nothing more.

Me too, almost exactly halfway through. Really a tragic waste. After all of the firefights he went through in Iraq to get taken out on our own soil by a fellow soldier is just too sad. I really hope the media gives him the respect he so richly deserves for his service. He was a true hero.
