slide difficult to remove during field strip pm45

Hello,
anyone have issues when field stripping the pm45, the slide is difficult to slide completely off. Lined up the notches, removed the slide stop lever, returned to battery, pulled the trigger, attempted to remove the slide, and there is the issue, it hangs up and I have to give it a hard push to get it off. Never had that issue with any other firearm field strip before.

Is it because it is brand new and the polymer may be catching on the stainless slide by chance?

Being new is part of it probably. I pull the take down pin and let the slide go forward till it hits resistance, then pull the trigger and it should slide off.

I sometimes have to tickle the trigger to get the slide back on too.

Yes I have tried that as well. Tolerances are tight and may need to be broken in more. Appreciate the input. :)
