I was pretty proud of myself when I got my P380 a few months back for $499 ( couldn't get the plastic out of my wallet fast enough). I love that little BUGger, but the CW will be just perfect for my son, who also likes my P380 but can't wait to get the CW for nearly 1/2 the price. It's worth the wait.

I got an answer of late spring to early summer sometime when I enquired when the CM45 would be available.
Has the P380 improved so much, that you'd take a chance on the cheaper CM380?
I know it's had more than it's shares of complaints on the forum. That would be the only reason I'd be leery of them. Otherwise I wouldn't mind having one to replace my .32 Tomcat I traded away. I figured why have a .32 with potential rim lock problems, (and they did happen, mostly on mags that had been loaded for awhile and banged around in the car and stuff) when you could have a .380 in the same size pistol. I did have an elsiepee for awhile, but never got comfortable with it and traded it for something else. One feature of the Tomcat I really liked was the tip up barrel so you could load a round into the chamber without racking the slide. The slide was small and fairly stiff and hard to get a good grip on it to rack it.
