Retired Navy Seal Sniper and author of the book "American Sniper" was shot and killed in Texas Saturday along with friend Chad Littlefield at a shooting range where the two had taken retired Iraq vet Eddie Ray Routh shooting as therapy for P.T.S.D.
Kyle was a decorated Iraq war sniper with 150 confirmed enemy kills and an unknown number of American Marine lives saved with his heroic service with the Seals...
Kyle was on a recent episode of "Sons of Guns" TV show and really seemed like a nice quiet guy and didn't seem to want any attention drawn to himself or his outstanding military record but wanted to talk more about his foundation "FITCO Cares" helping returning vets with counseling to ease back into civilian life and to help those having problems due to P.T.S.D.
The shooter Eddie Ray Routh was a returning multi tour Iraq vet with emotional problems and the range time was to try and help him with his issues but turned tragic when he turned his weapon on Kile and Littlefield...
