I just browsed to your link and the only thing I see in 9mm is SD ammo. The FMJ must have sold out already. Buyers are snatching everything up as soon as it hits the shelves; in this case, the virtual shelves.

How long before the buying frenzy eases? I thought once credit card bills started arriving, the splurge would die off. The panic buying appears to have long legs.

I think the splurge is slowly dying off. I just think that manufacturers still cannot keep up with the demand and lots of FMJ bulk is back ordered.

I got a box of defense ammo now and I can wait.

yea, there was 100rd wwb there for $30 as well as 147 superx and rem golden saber jhp both for $18/box. But I'm sure they wient fast.

not the best prices, but compared to none anywhere else...it wasn't a total price gouge. I think sg pricing is pretty fair in the current environment.

I bought some Silver Bear .308 in December for $8.00 per 20 round box. Now the price is $28. Bullets did better than my 401K!!

My P380 likes PMC bronze....I see SG has some of that at a very reasonable price. Good for them for not gouging during these times of sparce availablity. Bravo SG!!

Ammunition Depot has SD ammo in stock right now, prices are the same as MIdway, except they have it.

I think that things will only get worse as Obummer and the anti-gunners ratchet up the pressure with anti-everything-gun legislature and more and more people join the frenzy because they don't want to be left with no chance of getting enough hardware or ammo before too long. It's a frenzy and will get worse for a while!

I feel bad that I didn't decide early enough to get an "assault" rifle and a supply of ammo for it, but I have no place to shoot one and I'm not going to pay 2 or 3 times the prices I saw just over a month ago, especially for .308's! I'll have to make do with my 10/22 and what magazines I already had and bought. I do have the tactical semi-auto 12-ga for a heavy hitter, too.

I'll swap a few boxes of handgun ammo or .22LR for one when they run out of bullets and get more desperate... good barter stuff... ammo... also good for defense or getting what you want in hard times. I think that hoarder is a bad term... used by people who got started too late in preparing for hard times.

Yeah, I'm not a horder, I've kept a certan amount for just these kind of times, for the last 15 years. I just have some that I don't shoot, and another supply , that when I shoot it I try to replace it. Now I have cut down on my practice, instead of 50 rds. of 22 ammo a day, now just 50 a week. Instead of 50 rds. of 9mm a week, it's 50 a month. I have plenty to last for a couple of years. Also more than enough for a SHTF thing, for my 9's and my Romy. Maybe this will be a wake-up call for people to keep at least 1k rds. for their handguns and rifles.

I really don't want to add up the cost of all the ammo I shot just last year.
Fortunately I've dialed in all my guns and proven them with the SD ammo I have on hand.

My every week range work will be postponed until this crazy passes.
I did get 200 rounds of Speer Lawman for my .45.
And just received 1K of M855 for the AK74U.

A friend has some private property we can shoot on.
So I'm bringing the HK45C, AK74U, fat T-Bones and a Macho gun movie for an afternoon of fun!
