Hi all!

New to the forum, i have two EDC's, a Kahr CM9 and a Glock 23. Thinking my wife might be stealing my CM9 soon so I'll be in the market for another one soon!

Apart from those two i own 9 other fire arms. ;)

AMEN! And welcome to the forum! Wifey's family lives in the Bayfield area so we fly down to the Durango area every other year now that she works... can't afford the time to drive 3 days each way, though that would be my preference. I love my van and can carry anything I want, not just one pistol or so and limited ammo!

You may not need the info, but here's something:

Welcome to the Kahrtalk forum supported by Kahr Arms.
Here are a few essential links and things to do BEFORE you take your new pistol to the range, and ESPECIALLY BEFORE taking it apart and trying to re-assemble it! The Kahr is a different design… 6-7 unique patents cover the Kahrs. I’m not trying to imply that you don’t know anything about guns, but many don’t know anything about the Kahrs and some of the things you can do to damage or cause malfunctions of your new, or new-to-you Kahr pistol.
First, if you don’t have a manual, yet, or one didn’t come with your pistol, you can download the pdf file here:
http://www.kahr.com/PDF/kahrmanual.pdf
Impatient? Watch one of these videos FIRST! These videos can point out possible problem areas and emphasize correct procedures!

There are many links on fixing problems listed in several places… under the New Member or Kahr Tech sub-forums.
A very handy one is the Kahr Lube Diagram:

Many of your questions can be answered in these areas and you can learn how your Kahr works and not damage it with improper handling.
Frequently asked questions: http://www.kahr.com/faq.asp?

There are many helpful members here most of the time who might be able to help you, but as anywhere, there are many opinions and not all are correct. Be mindful of this before doing anything drastic to modify your pistol!

Welcome to the forum.

Good choice on the cm9. I'm sure you er, guess we might have to make that your wife, will find it a very easy piece to carry.

As you said, it can be quite a chore to find 9mm ammo right now as it seems to fly off the shelf as soon as they stock it. Keep looking at your lgs, (if you can find out when their truck delivers, that can be helpful with your timing on when to look), and online for the ammo though. 9mm ammo seems to pop up every now and again if you are quick enough.

Welcome from another big fan of Colorado, although I'm a little ticked off at the Governor for deciding the state wouldn't recognize other state non-resident CCW's.

Anyway, enjoy, stay safe and defeat the anti legislation being pushed on the law abiding gun owners of Colorado.

Thanks for the welcome!

yeah our Governor isn't the best that has ever happened to Colorado.. Where i live life is still good though! I know of no store with a no-gun policy here in town:amflag:
