Kahr posted the following on its FB page.

Due to the unprecedented demand for Kahr pistols we have postponed production of the CM45 until the fall of 2013.

This will allow us to meet the demand on our new CW380 and our current products. Thanks for the question!

Truth be told I would IMHO say that is the VERY EARLIEST you will see it and prepare for a longer wait into 2014.

Every 1.5 seconds, a new gun is purchased in America. http://defendgunrights.com/articles/unprecedented-demand-americans-purchase-a-gun-every-1-5-seconds

I'm not doing my fair share, dangit.

If we've gotta wait, we've gotta wait. I would still be more than happy to wait if it would guarantee a K45 model.

On the bright side, Kahr just confirmed that they are as swamped with orders as some of my other favorite manufacturers. Bodes well for the future, unless, of course, the Commies (oops...Democrats I mean) manage to start a civil war over gun confiscation.

I'd rather have an MK45.

While you're waiting, as I did for my night-sighted P380 to come out, buy some more guns... as I did. I bought the LNIB PM9 and then a PM45, both DLC with NS... my existing "dream guns" at the time!

Once you get what you really want, you can sell something.

I can wait....Looking forward to at least getting my hands on one somewhere when they appear. Purchase will be when they get the bugs worked out, and there is a decent supply. No huge hurry, or immediate need...I just want one.

All good things come to those who wait.

The local SIG rep told me they were 22-24 months behind before the craziness. I also heard that Magpul was behind over 1 million AR-15 magazines.
