Hello ppl,
As stated I am a new Kahr owner and YES i have read the owners manual and i know about the 200 round break in. My question is after only about a dozen rounds i noticed when you go to move the slide back the barrel catches on the ejection port of the slide, then it kinda drops down a hair and slides freely. It has actually started to slightly mushroom the edges on the barrel at the ejection port. Any ideas?
My terminology may not be spot on with seasoned vets but ill try to get it correct.
Thanks!

Welcome to the forum. Sometimes there is some interference or interaction like that causing peening or deformation that can be removed with a whet stone, file, or even sandpaper to stop the "mushrooming" from growing and hindering the action. Pictures would be helpful, but it sounds like the parts weren't perfectly machined and are trying to mate together during break-in, but may need some help to stop the interference.
The take down video can still be helpful with assembly/reassembly as the slide stop pin is easily inserted incorrectly. That part starts at about 4:30:

Welcome to the forum, Iim1awh! :) There is a wealth of valuable information in the New Member Area (http://kahrtalk.com/forumdisplay.php?f=56) and the Kahr-Tech (http://kahrtalk.com/forumdisplay.php?f=27) sections of the forum.
You need a post count of 30 or more to upload an avatar, so get to posting. But you can post pictures from Photobucket. The way I post pics is upload them to Photobucket, mouse over the image, select the Direct Link, come over here to the Post Edit Window, select the Picture Icon (http://i1230.photobucket.com/albums/ee486/John_England/Misc/PictureIcon.jpg), paste the link in there and hit Enter. If I am pulling a picture from some other website, I Right Click it and select Copy Image Location, then post the same way.
What model Kahr pistol do you have? Let us see some pictures of it and we can help determine if it needs to go back to Kahr.

Thanks for the info, would doing any of the above steps possibly void the warranty? What if i decide to sand it off, how would that look to a potential buyer if i decide to sell? Not that i intend to cause i really like the feel of it. One more thing, how do i submit a pic in this reply? Dont laugh im not a forum junkie.
Thanks,
dawg
