Same thing they say about Gunzilla and Balistol and TW25. It supposedly gets into the pores of the metal and builds up a microscopic protective layer. They've come a long way since pig fat.

You need to get you a picture for your shop like Uncle Bawanna has on his workbench and then you won't notice any of the clutter, Nice little attention getter!!!....

I liked the can of Ronsonol Lighter Fuel... good for all kinds of stuff... removes Sharpie Pen markings, too. It's one of my favorite "cleaners". Sometimes I try all kinds of volatile stuff. You have to be careful, though, some plastics melt! I found that out about OFF! one time after putting that on, I got a phone call. It ruined the display on my Panasonic cordless two-line phone!
I used to use light fluid to get the gummy labels off the CD's I bought in Germany back when they first came out. Some of the cases would partially melt!

You're NOT supposed to light the fluid!!! Geezz, Wynn, no wonder they let you FLY the Aluminum Overcast instead of trust you to WORK on it!:)

I don't bother to clean guns anymore. Life is too, short. I just shoot them until they stop working and then buy new ones. I've saved a small fortune in patches and Hoppes.
