I am just curious what people's opinions are on this round. I love the 115gr Gold Dot in my CW9, but haven't had much experience with the XTP. I am getting a great deal and want to be able to keep several hundred quality hp's on hand.

The XTP bullet has been around awhile, is tried an tested and respected. Nothing wrong at all. It's used in Hornady premium ammo as well as by other ammo producers. I've carried only three rounds for many years... a Hornady with a XTP bullet, Gold Dot or more recently the Winchester PDX1. All three deliver reliablility in feeding, accurate shots and high quality consistency. My only comment would be that many people opt for 124 gr, as even Hornady uses in their TAP ammo, but I wouldn't let that stop me from a good deal.

Thanks for the reply. I think I am going to bite on the deal because it is just too good to pass up. I will be paying $40 per 100 rounds.
