NY has divested it's pension monies from ALL Gun makers, ammo Makers or anything having to do with firearms! Funny as these stocks were delivering hefty returns!

At this juncture it is not an issue they have any say over.

It certainly is! 2nd Ammendment - shall not be infringed. They do not HAVE to wait until cases make their way up to them. When they see several states clearly stomping all over the Constitution, they have a right and a duty to take action.

Never gonna happen w/o a case being presented in the standard fashion. They have had opportunites to step in on past situations on their own but I do not recall a SINGLE case in which they did. In many cases where the Constitution clearly stated they should take option 1 they did not. Be careful what you wish for.

With guns sales at the highest levels, they probably think sales have peaked. They are probably subscribing to the buy-low sell-high technique. It's time to sell before the market returns to lower levels or some guns are banned and their manufacturers go under.

Maybe, but I think they want to make a political statement at the pensioners expense of profits....
