The Courant also reported that Adam may have felt that he was in direct competition with Norwegian mass murderer Anders Breivik,
based on news articles about Breivik's 2011 crime they found in the Lanzas' home.

looks like a normal kid to me...it's just sad to think that he felt it had to come to murder to resolve whatever issues he has/had. i believe he new exactly what he was doing.

I think his Mom was going through formal proceedings to have him netted, tranquilized and committed to a mental institution - permanently.
He discovered what was going on and lashed out.

Yes, it's very sad indeed.

Parent should have been committed for letting him wear his hair like Pollyanna far as I'm concerned.

I see a real future in post partum abortion.

Definitely the gun's fault, not his.

It was a tragedy for all concerned. Mental illness isn't a joking matter.

I don't think that's really Bawanna at all.
And was looking for misspelled and colorful input from Jocko too?

Seems like something very restrained and politically correct is happening around here to me?

I mean didn't we have that crazy eyes thread a while back?

I'm sitting in my cubicle head down, speaking softly and not leaving it unless absolutely necessary.

Awaiting a retirement feasibility report from the union. (I hate unions by the way).

My boys suggested sticking around as long as possible to continue to be a nuisance and fight against women in the workplace. A dozen women and a half man, I'm learning is not an ideal combination for mental stability which of course would be something terribly new to me anyhow. And as Muggsy pointed out, nothing to joke about although I seem to do ok.

Sorry, had to empty my drool cup.

Sorry all my cyber brides, I'm sure you'd be fine here it's just that I'm unfortunate to have all the bad ones working here, obviously to punish me for the sins of an earlier life.

I have the frame already for verbal written warning # 4 and have a nice spot picked out for hopefully an upcoming # 5 to balance the decor. If there's a #6 I'm gonna have to redecorate, it'll just be too cluttered.

They were just actors. All choreographed. The medical examiner screwed up his part, no chance of an academy award for him.

I'm not even sure I truly believe the mom or the kid or the school kids were really killed. I know that's kind of scary and hard to comprehend but that's all part of a conspiracy. Call me a tinfoil hater if you wish but it's all to convenient not to planned from the start.

A couple of the grieving parents are almost shoe in's though.

If it hadn't been Sandy Hook, it would have been some where else. The kid and his mom didn't bring this all down, it was coming anyway.

I can't for the life of me even begin to understand why anyone would do what Lanza did. It's just so sad, so many innocent lives eliminated by that ......., you fill in the blank. And as bad as it was, I don't understand why some people think that passing more gun control laws would have prevented it. You can pass all the laws you want too but you'll never be able to control a psychopath with laws. What's the difference if his weapon of choice is an AR15 or a bomb vest, the victims are just as dead either way.

Some of the gun control advocates actually admit the laws they are proposing
would have not prevented this event.

We have the lowest homicide rate in 50 years.
That rate has continued to drop after the last assault weapons ban was lifted.
The agenda is to disarm law abiding citizens.
This is just a poorly disguised excuse to justify the next step in that direction.

The beauty in this tactic is that since no flavor of gun control will work.
As this one fails it simply justifies the next step to even more stringent control.

We really have to make a stand on this issue.

+1 Alphonse. Some of our politicians can't handle the second amendment and think that they can bend it to their will. They have a very rude awakening coming.

No. Abnormal. Definitely ABNORMAL... If I went into a restaurant, sat down and saw that kid sitting there staring at me, I'd either move, or leave.
That look is pathological scary.
Why are we even discussing the right to keep and bear arms, when you might see something like that in public places. When I see something like that, emotions well up.
If my dog wasn't there, I'd be petting my gun.
