Range ammo for shotguns is still in stock at my local WalMart.
I haven't done much clay shooting for awhile. Since I don't know how long it might take for other ammunition to be available, I'm thinking I might need to start busting clays again.
Do you think shotgun shells will remain available? Biden is trying to get demand up, but so far failing!

I am quite surprised you still find it on the shelf. VP Biden is throwing his shotgun sales pitch around and I think it is only a matter of time before all of that is scooped up as well.

I figure it is because Biden is a much worse shotgun salesman than Obama is at selling ARs and Hicap pistols.

you shouldn't have much trouble finding shotgun shells for a while. Since only the kooky lefties will follow crazy joe's advice, and they listened to his blather, they will all be looking of their two shotgun bullets
what an ignorant buffoon he is.
The only 12ga shotgun shells my Walmart has left is low recoil Winchester AA.
The Federal 100 round packs are gone and not being replenished. Hunting loads have disappeared, too.
Much to my surprise, they had WWB 100 round packs of .40 in stock, as well as bricks of 22LR.

I was very surprised to hear Biden to tell people to stick the shotgun out the window and shoot off a couple rounds. He wasn't thinking about where those pellets were going to land. Very bad advice for a vice president to give out in my opinion.

Thinking??? Joe??? Not bloody likely.
And those loose pellets will be dug out the behinds of his Secret Service detail.

I didn't see any defensive stuff lately. I was thinking of prying the ends of some high-base shells open and putting a measured load of #4 buck in there to replace the birdshot. I still have a bit of that in a small bag and my semi-auto CD needs a stiff load to work the action... really stiff!
I wish that I had one of those old 12-ga Lee Loaders for 12-ga. I had one in 20-ga when I started reloading. I used a Sears drill press attachment for a hand drill to power the "action" instead of a mallet! If you used your own brass it wasn't too bad. It worked with my 870, but I got a MEC when I started loading 12ga for my 1100.

so far all of our local wal-marts have had 100rd boxes of federal & winchester, with the recent talks i might have to grab a few more boxes.
about a month ago i did notice a few stores not haveing them on the shelf & thought that was strange, but then they started to replenish & have seen them steady on the shelfs.

You must have a Big BOB, for an 18 foot H&R to be in it.

The last thing I needed is more shotgun shells, so I picked up 100 rounds of 00 buck and a case of #8 field loads. Best part is for the 350 shells I paid out a whopping $47 for all.
Who could pass up on a deal like that? And my wife STILL got pissed off even after I told her how much money I saved?!?

Local Indy Walmarts and Meijer stores all have shotgun ammo on the shelves. I picked up 100 rounds of game shot and 25 rounds of deer slugs last sunday and the wife and I went Wednesday to the Gun club and had a blast :D. Sadly I've haven't seen anybody there the last couple of times I've been there.

i've been seeing lately that my local wal-marts have'nt had near the amount of 100rd boxes on there shelves that they have in the past, all the sales people i've talked with have said it's selling just as fast as hand gun ammo..

Actually, the local WalMart here had .40 S&W, .38, .357 and had some .22
They say them might even have some 9mm in today or tomorrow.

If you have a .22-250, they usually have some of that... and skeet and trap loads. The light stuff won't work in my CD SA Tactical 12-ga. I need HEAVY loads for it to cycle the action. Anything less is like a bolt action!

Should have bought the FN SLP. It cycles anything.
