I know this is probably a dumb question but is it possible to put a P9 black slide on my CW9 frame and make it work? I've seen these the Kahr Arms web site and I really like the looks of it. I know it's a dumb question but I have to ask :o

I really don't know. I've never had any "C" models. I would think that you would be better off getting your CW9 slide blackened... or sell yours and get a P9. We had a slew of them for sale on our Marketplace here recently. I bought one like that last year. I also bought the ported barrel while they were on sale for $129.99... nice.

On the second page of the following link, I mention that the ported barrel is for the P9 AND the CW9, so maybe the slides interchange, too.

That string had a cool video with the CM/PM interchange.
I would assume that since the CM/PM models can interchangethe CW/P can also? I hate to assume things though. :o

The answer is yes, the CW and P are interchangeable

The TP top end also fits on the CW/P frames.

but my point is this. Why? send ur cw slide off and get it finished the way u want, there are alot of custom finishers out there . IMO it wold be cheaper, and then what u gonna do with the original cw slide?? No oneI MO would want to buy it, u can't just later on buy a lower for it either Kahr will not do , that. so now u have basically one gun with two slides and really only one ur gonna really use.

Just my two cents, but IMO it makes no cents.:Amflag2:

I would agree with jocko, it would only cost you about $50 at www.helixgunsmith.com plus shipping.

You can even do your own for about $10 in materials ... KG-Coatings. Good stuff
