If you want to shoot in CT at this time of year, sometimes you just have to suck it up and do it. I'm still waiting on my permit so a guy from my church took me out to do some shooting with him. If you zoom in close you could probably figure out which set of paper plates were his and which ones were mine ... though all things considered, I don't think I did too bad for the first time ever with his MK9. I am looking forward to when I can do some practice shooting with my own gun, though. Until then ... I wait.

That's the way to shoot in snow. Laying stuff on the snow is no fun. You can hit an inch low but 1 foot or more in front of the target... not so impressive!

I had to mow my yard last week...I bet that white stuff would make it hard to mow:D
why are you having to "wait" to shoot your own pistol?

Was at outdoor range sunday 22*f and wed. Windy and 30*f. I feel ya!
But today we got snow.. so instead of pulling a .40 trigger
I took S.S. Thundercouch out and abused my hands arms and shoulders :)

175 h.p. trigger. ;). Giggity.
Keep up the snow practice..... its nice to know.you can perform in less than perfect shooting environment. Which is likely what youll be in anyway if the need arose..
Cheers.

How far away is the target? It looks to be at least 30 ft or even more.

My wife is a hell of a shot.
I want to send both of my ex wives to hell.
