New member with MK9 question

This is my 2nd MK9 ,had 1 a couple of years ago and am very sorry I sold it,it was great with magna ports and for those interested in the 9mm magna porting it was a good shooter but a real bad pain when it came to cleaning. I just got a like new in box MK9 serial # GC31xx. Can anyone give me any information on Kahrs quality and possible problems during this time ?It seems to have been produced in 2006-2007. This shows less than a box being fired thru it.

Mine is GC51XX. Your mags probably have MK Kahr on them the new ones have 9-6 Kahr on them. Personally I like the older mags. As far as inherent problems I can't think of any. In some ways each gun has its own personality if you will. My mk40 is different in some aspects like a little bit lighter trigger pull & a somewhat tighter slide to frame fit but my mk9 is reliable well built & my almost favorite gun.
