Bin Laden died 5 years ago: says ex agent

This sensational statement was made by a Turkish politician, and a former U.S. intelligence agent. In an interview with Russia’s Channel One, he said that the Americans simply found and opened the tomb of the leader of al-Qaeda.

Makes a person wonder. No pictures of the body, or burial at sea, the SEAL team that took him out all killed in a helicopter crash, (I've heard it's very unusual to have a whole SEAL team together in one helicopter). You'd think that pictures his bullet riddled body would be all over TV, and that some video or photographic evidence of an autopsy or burial at sea would have been kept.

No.

One of the team members on the raid that killed Bin Laden wrote a book about it that was just recently released (late last year), and another recently did an interview with Esquire magazine, having just gotten out of the Navy after almost 17 years of service.

And regarding the crash you're referring to, yes, 22 members of SEAL Team 6 were killed, but that's not the entire team. Officials even stated that none of the men who raided Bin Laden's compound were on that helicopter.

I'm not going to defend the article, just posted for information only.
I thought I'd see what people thought, what motive would they have to make this story up? What are they up too?

Some points to consider, (playing devil's advocate here)

Anyone can write a book, and say anything they want. (or are told too)
You already have a story line, and a lot of the details laid out for you to put in the book or to talk about on TV.

The evidence he died 5 years ago would have been his rotten corpse.

I can see why they would want to keep the death secret, it would be a major blow to moral to find out their leader was dead.

Also, he used to make videos pretty regularly to taunt us, when was the last one of those produced?
