To those with no FTF

Do your followers move smoothly past the mag release or do they hang up a little? I am curious to hear from those with no 2nd or 3rd round FTF's.

Mag slides up. Top hits mag detent. Then a little farther and detent clicks into mag slot. K40 Bought used. I have 2 new 7rd mags and the original 6rd..

276 rds split between all 3. And 100% so far with 3 types of sd ( 2 brands) and 3 diff brands of range ammo..

Even with my gal limping it.. 100% reliable so far

No FTFs here, and my followers do not hang up. However, I did the test detailed in one if the prep threads and all 3 of my mag followers were catching up a bit...so all 3 were slightly sanded/rounded before I ever went to the range.

Glock23, how many round on you sanded followers? Each of Mine broke after about 200 rounds?

I carefully followed the preps recommended in the forum. Mainly because I have never owned a semi-auto of any brand. I used 600 grit paper and polished my mags. They both fall free as they should. 500 rounds and not a single problem of any kind. Totally sold on my CM9.

Kahr will replace broken followers. Send pictures & gun serial number in an email to Kahr Customer Service. Guys do this all of the time.

Only ~50 rounds per mag so far.

My pm9 broke a follower it's first time out. Sent the gun and mags back to kahr and no issues since, 1000 rounds+. Not sure if they hung up before but they certainly don't now, and all 3 mags drop free.
