My slide will not go back on

I can not get the slide to come back so I can line up the pin to put it back in. The pistol will not let me rack it back to insert the pin. I have watched the videos with no resolve. Any suggestions?

It seems as though the spring is hitting that little lip right before it seats itself into the polymer frame and there is nothing I can do...

Try pushing down on the barrel at the ejection port as you try to slide it back.

I had this problem the first few times I reassembled. Use the slide lock to "wiggle" the guide rod tip as you slide the slide back on. The intent is to align the rod with the opening in the slide.
