Man jkalantzis, I wish you would have contacted me a couple weeks ago. I really liked my MK9 but had to let her go. I too am on the look out for a Kimber but I want the Stainless Raptor II. Maybe one day I'll get to have my cake and eat it too. Until then I will have to keep taking one piece at a time.

Lets see, today is Tuesday 4-6-10. Wednesday 4-7-10 is a little less than 24 hours away to high noon here on the Pacific that is. Course the sellers usually don't take into consideration the buyer who's waiting on toe tips, loaded with anticipation and anxiety, so might drag his feet a day which would make it 4-8-10 an additional 24 hours. Average deliver usually mid morning, unless the deliver driver is jerking around slacking. I'm thinking it's not too early to get out the camera, clean the lense, make sure it's in working order. Fondle and inhale the new holster. Get ready to receive that new little bundle of happiness.

Oh, I just noticed the actual pics from Gunbroker. Have the dremel tool and polishing wheel on hand. That barrel and hood will shine up like a 20$ gold piece. The fellas here could use another photo of before, like it is now and after. Should look like a chrome bumper when your done.

I'm debating polishing my whole stainless slide on my K40. Think I should?

I actually felt that and thought of you and my K40 getting together. I've thought about doing some swapping but it's up and down and right now I'm sort of in the keep it mode. I'll let you know if that changes. Being a poor semi working semi flacid myself I have to make careful moves myself.
