I have been reading all the reports everyone posted on their CW-9's and doing a lot of research. Most everything I read is positive, so I decided to get me a CW-9 also. I have been wanting one for a while, so I found a great deal on the CW-9 and the CM-9 so I bought both as a package deal. I am pleased to tell you guys that I have shot over 600 rounds out of both. Not one malfunction right out of the box. Both shoot great and are very accurate. I have had a factory Covert P-40 for a while and let me tell you it's nice to shoot a 9mm in a small pistol compared to the P-40. It's truly a hand cannon. But I like it to because it's a covert model. I know it's not worth anything but I like it because it's different and not everyone has one. But anyway thanks to you guys I have a nice CW-9 and CM-9 that's been perfect.

Congratulations! It's nice to see positive posts. Most come on here to figure out how to resolve issues.

I just shot 100 rounds through my new cw9 today and really like it. Was there any significant difference in recoil between your cw9 and the smaller cm9?

There's not really that much difference. I had a CW9 and traded it for a CM9 (yeah I know, I'm an idiot) but the only difference to me is it leaves my pinky hanging. If you don't mind the shorter grip the recoil in the 9mm wont be an issue. I love my CM9 and carry it a lot.
